Protestors in Oakland are understandably emotional and upset about what very much looks like a cold blooded killing of a youth of color by a police officer. Meanwhile BART is hushing the whole thing up and assuring people that they are investigating. The BART cop who did the shooting still hasn't been arrested, and has refused to cooperate even with BART's internal investigation.

And what does SFGate choose to focus on for at least half of their article? Oakland residents who were upset that their car or shop windows got broken during the protest. Seriously.

Not only that, but they take great pains to mention the race of every person who is complaining about a smashed window. Oh and guess what, they're all black.

My suggested alternative headline for this piece of bullshit reporting: "Widespread Black On Black Vandalism Overshadows Minor Police Incident Involving Some Kind Of Weapon"
